Introduction

Today, network and sensor device technologies are progressing rapidly. We can easily obtain real-world information as data streams. For example, with the spread of GPS technology, we can use location information inexpensively. In another example, wireless sensor devices currently allow us to monitor temperature and brightness in remote places. To achieve query processing over such data streams, studies on stream processing engines are becoming more and more important. StreamSpinner, a stream processing engine we developed, has the following features:
